ARCADIS AYH plc, the leading provider of project and cost management consultancy services, claimed victory in the 27-hole Fit-out Masters golf tournament on Friday 23rd June.
Sixty teams of contractors, designers and consultants descended on Hanbury Manor PGA championship golf course in the hope of taking home the prestigious Fit-out Masters trophy. As well as the trophy, the victors also won a day for 12 in a private members box at the ARCADIS AYH plc project-managed Emirates Stadium; the new home of Arsenal FC.
ARCADIS AYH plc's 2-man team of Quinton Dreyer and Jim McCombe won both the consultants section and the overall tournament with a total of 78 points. There was a tense finale to the day as ARCADIS AYH were tied in first place with another team but were given the victory on a 'count-out' basis.
Amongst the 28, 2 player teams taking part were Gardiner & Theobald, Bovis Lend Lease and Foster and Partners.
Quinton Dreyer, playing off an 18 handicap, was delighted with the victory:
"It was a closely fought tournament, especially heading into the last few holes but Jim and I managed to keep our cool. It was a very enjoyable day and everyone left in high spirits."
